Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 15.10.2018 or to pass any other order or direction as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances. For Petitioner : Mr.G.Mohanarangan For Respondents : Mr.E.Balamurugan Special Government Pleader

O R D E R

Mr.E.Balamurugan, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent of the parties, this main writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. The petitioner seeks for a mandamus directing the respondents to consider her representation dated 15.10.2018, wherein and whereby, she sought for patta in respect of the vacant land in Survey No.125, measuring an extent of 2400 sq.ft, situated at Chinna Chembarambakkam Village, Ayanavaram Taluk, Chennai District.

3. It is seen that the Tahsildar, by proceedings dated 04.01.2018 has already informed the petitioner that the perusal of the revenue records would show that the property, for which, the petitioner seeks for patta situated at Survey No.124 Part and hence, she has to get her documents rectified in respect of the said Survey No.124. The petitioner neither questions the said proceedings dated 04.01.2018 nor taken any steps to get the Survey Number rectified. Therefore, I do not think, one more representation before the Tahsildar, will serve any purpose.

4. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of by granting liberty to the petitioner to workout her remedy in a manner known to law, to get the Survey number rectified in her document or seek for declaration in respect of the property in which she is in possession and enjoyment before the Competent Civil Court. No costs.
