Mr.B.Anandan, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondent. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

The petitioner seeks for a mandamus directing the respondent to consider his representation dated 03.02.2016, wherein and whereby, he sought for transferring Patta in his name in respect of the property bearing Door No.54, Rajabathar Street, Arakkonam Taluk, Vellore District comprised in Punjai S.No.182/1 & 182/2, Ward-B, Block-21, as per the Will dated 02.12.2007.

4. The grievance of the petitioner before this Court is that the said request has not been considered by the respondent so far. This Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, as it is for the respondent to consider and decide the same. Thus, this writ petition is disposed of, only with a direction to the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 03.02.2016 and pass orders on the same, on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the petitioner as well as the rival claimants and other interested parties, if any. Such exercise shall be done by the respondent within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
