Crl.O.P.No.4436 of 2023 Crl.O.P.No.4436 of 2023 G.CHANDRASEKHARAN.,J., This petition is filed to direct the 1st respondent to transfer the investigation in Crime No.364 of 2022 from the file of the 2nd respondent to 3rd respondent herein or to any other independent investigating agency pursuant to the petitioner's representation dated 09.01.2023.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that de-facto complainant, now the victim named Gnanaselvam was indiscriminately attacked by the accused in this case. As a result, he sustained head injuries and other injuries. Despite treatment, he succumbed to injuries on 30.11.2022. So far, respondent police have not arrested all the accused in this case and filed final report. Therefore, this petition.

3. In response, learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) submitted that during the course of the investigation, First Information Report was altered from Sections 294(b), 323, 324 and 506(2) of IPC to 174 of Cr.P.C., and then altered to Sections 294(b) and 302 of IPC. One of the accused namely Ukkaravel was arrested in this case and the investigation is proceeding on the right line.
