The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to sub-divide the properties in S.F.No.488/7 and 488/8 measuring an extent of 7 3⁄4 cents situated in Karadichithur Village, Chinnasalem Taluk, Villupuram District and effect mutation on the revenue records by issuing separate patta in favor of the petitioner. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that inspite of the petitioner's representation https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

dated 06.09.2013 for issuance of patta and inspite of the order passed by the Revenue Divisional Officer, the 4th respondent has not passed any order so far.

3.Mr.S.Navaneethan, learned Additional Government Pleader taking notice for the respondents submitted that the 4th respondent may be directed to consider the case of the petitioner and pass orders in accordance with law. 4.Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the Writ Petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 4th respondent to pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, after taking into consideration the order passed by the Revenue Divisional Officer on 20.01.2015, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
