Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 & 2 to take disciplinary action against the respondents 3 to 6 herein, who are responsible for the delay in measuring the petitioner land and consequentially this Court may direct the respondents 1 & 2 to deducting salary jointly and severally a sum of Rs.5,50,000/- (five lakhs and fifty thousand rupees only) from the respondents 3 to 6 to provide the petitioner for suffered from mentally and physically and unnecessary expenses spent by the petitioner past 6 years and this Court may fix the stipulated time for considering the petitioner's representation on 23.11.2023.

This writ petition has been filed for the issue of writ of mandamus directing the respondents 1 & 2 to initiate disciplinary proceedings against the respondents 3 to 6 based on the representation dated 23.11.2023.
2.The grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner was repeatedly approaching the respondents 3 to 6 in order to measure his land and to lay boundary stones. The petitioner was made to run from pillar to post. Ultimately, only after a writ petition was filed before this Court and this Court directed the Tahsildar to survey the land and to report compliance, the lands were surveyed and the boundary stones were laid. In view of the same, the petitioner is seeking for taking disciplinary action against the respondents 3 to 6 and also for payment of compensation.
3.The 2nd respondent has filed counter affidavit and has explained as to the reason for the delay in conducting the survey. 4.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that based on the representation made by the petitioner, the 2nd respondent has already 3/6
initiated enquiry for taking disciplinary action against the concerned officers. If any such proceedings have been initiated, the 2nd respondent shall enquire all the parties concerned and shall take a final decision within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and the decision shall be conveyed to the petitioner. 5.This Writ Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
