Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 3 to permit the petitioner to continue the renovation work of the fourth respondent Muthaiyan Temple situated at Korathakudi Village, Ariyalur Taluk & District by considering the representation dated 07.08.2017. O R D E R

The petitioner has come up with this Writ Petition seeking direction to the respondents 1 to 3 to permit the petitioner to continue the renovation work of the fourth respondent Muthaiyan Temple situated at Korathakudi Village, Ariyalur Taluk & District by considering the representation dated 07.08.2017.

2. According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner made a representation dated 07.08.2017,to the respondents seeking to permit the petitioner to continue the renovation work of the fourth respondent Muthaiyan Temple situated at Korathakudi Village, Ariyalur Taluk & District. Since, no action has been taken by the respondents on the same till date, the petitioner has come forward with this writ petition seeking for the aforesaid relief.

3. Heard Mr.M.Maharaja, learned Special Government Pleader who accepts notice for the respondents.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and having regard to the submissions made, without going into the merits of the case, this Court directs the first respondent to consider and pass orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 07.08.2017, on merits and in accordance with law, after issuing notice to the petitioner, the fourth respondent and also affording due opportunity of hearing to them as well as any of the interested parties, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
