ORDER

(DELIVERED BY DR. S.VIMALA, J.) The present petition has been filed by the husband of the detenue, seeking direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to produce his wife Jamuna Rani, before this Court.

2. It is submitted by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that based on the complaint given by the petitioner, husband of the detenue, a case has been registered under the head of "girl missing" in Crime No.190 of 2018 at Arakkonam Town Police Station, Vellore District. It is further submitted by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that subsequently, the detenue, wife of the petitioner, was traced by the petitioner himself and the detenue was produced before the Police and his https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

statement was also recorded. A copy of the said statement is produced before this Court.

3.The statement of the petitioner reveals that he had secured the detenue from the house of one Selvem on 09.05.2018. It is seen from the statement of the detenue that she was suffering from mental illness, due to which she had gone out of the house. The detenue has stated that she is ready to be with her husband and therefore, the petitioner has also withdrawn the complaint.

4. Since the detenue has been traced out and she is ready to be in the custody of the petitioner, this Habeas Corpus Petition is closed.
