Heard Mr. K.H.Ravikumar, Learned Counsel for the First Respondent and Mr. Gangadharan, Learned Counsel for the Second Respondent and perused the materials placed on record, apart from the pleadings of the parties. 2.

There is no representation for the Petitioner when the matter is called 10.53 a.m. today, apart from the earlier hearing on 29.08.2023. 3.

Learned Government Advocate appearing for the First Respondent, on instructions, states that after the filing of the Writ Petition, the Second Respondent by Proceedings in Na. Ka. No. 1606/2017/Thi2 dated 29.08.2022 accepted the proposal to appoint Mrs. Gowri as Secretary of Chinnamanayakanpalayam Panchayat and further directed Mr. Maheswaran, Secretary (in-charge) of Chinnamanayakanpalayam Panchayat to hand over the responsibilities to Mrs. Gowri, and its copy has been placed on record. In view of the same, nothing remains for further consideration in the Writ Petition, but if the Petitioner still has any grievance to be redressed in the matter, he is not precluded from working out his rights before the proper forum in the manner 2/4

recognized by law.

In fine, the Writ Petition is disposed with the aforesaid observations. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed. No costs. 30.08.2023 Index: Yes/No Note: Issue order copy by 06.10.2023.
