1. to directing the 1st respondent not to evict the petitioner from Shop No.10, Town Bus Stand, Attur, Salem, without due process of law.(WP.NO.1229/16)

2. to directing the 1st respondent not to evict the petitioner from Shop Nos.49 and 50, Town Bus Stand, Attur, Salem, without due process of law.(WP.NO.1230/16)

3. to directing the 1st respondent not to evict the petitioner from Shop No.19, Town Bus Stand, Attur, Salem, without due process of law.(WP.NO.1231/16)

Pleader, * * * * * (Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) In view of the statement made in Contempt Petition No.1845 of 2015, which is reproduced hereinunder, ''2.Learned Additional Advocate General submits that unfortunately these shops have not been auctioned unlike the normal practice and the time period is already over. However, extension has been granted in the present cases till the maximum time period of March, 2017. It is undertaken to this Court that the shops will be re-auctioned with fresh licences uniformly commencing in all cases from 1st of April, 2017.

the present petitions are also closed. No costs. Consequently, WMPs. stand closed.
