2.The Registrar, Pondicherry University, Puducherry ...Respondents Prayer: The writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records on the file of the first and second respondents relating to the impugned advertisement dated 17/01/2014 bearing ref: Advt.RC/2014/121 and quash the same in as much as it does not specify the field of essential qualification in respect of the posts and consequently direct the respondents to issue a supplementary notification specifying the exact field /fields in which the essentials are required in respect of each and every post and grant time for the prospective applicants to apply based on such corrected qualification and thereafter proceed with the recruitment. The relief sought for in this writ petition is to call for the records pursuant to the notification issued by the first respondent on 17.01.2014 for recruitment to the post of Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
2. The learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner informed the court that the process has not been continued and no further action was initiated in this regard by the respondents. In other words, the notification was not taken forwarded to complete the process of selection, now after a lapse of three years no further adjudication needs to be under taken, in view of the fact that the respondents have not initiated no further action, pursuant to the recruitment notification issued on 17.01.2014.

3. Accordingly, the writ petition stands closed. However, there is no order as to costs.
