ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.] Seeking a direction to the respondent to produce the body of the petitioner's husband viz., A.Poongamizh Karnan S/o.Aadhimoolam, aged 41 years, before this Court and to set him at liberty, the present habeas corpus petition has been filed. 2.It is the case of the petitioner that her husband A.Poongamizh Karnan went missing on 16.06.2019 and that the police have not taken effective steps to secure him. 3.On instructions, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on the complaint given by the petitioner, a case in Sevvapet P.S. Crime No.237 of 2019 has been registered on Page numbers https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

16.06.2019 for 'man missing' and the investigation is in progress.

4.Recording the same, this habeas corpus petition stands closed with a direction to the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Thiruvallur Sub Division, Thiruvallur to monitor the investigation in Sevvapet P.S. Crime No.237 of 2019 and keep the petitioner informed of the developments, if any. As and when the detenu is secured, he may be produced before the Judicial Magistrate II, Thiruvallur, under intimation to the petitioner.
