.. Respondents Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to grant shop license to him to run a bunk shop for selling tea and snacks (beverages) at the following places:

1. Kilpauk Medical College and Hospital, Chennai-10

2. Taylors Road, Kilpauk, Chennai-10

3. Barnaby Road, Kilpauk, Chennai-10 or at any other suitable place in Egmore Area, Chennai-8 by duly considering his representation vide his requisition letter dated 30.01.2017.

Heard Mr.C.P.Sivamohan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.P.V.Selvakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

2.The petitioner being a disabled person made a representation to the respondents on 30.01.2017 seeking permission to run a bunk shop. As the said request is pending consideration, the present writ petition has been filed. 3.Taking note of the pendency of the representation with the fourth respondent, without going into the merits of the case, either the fourth respondent or any authority working under him is directed to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 30.01.2017 and dispose of the same on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
