ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Bhavani to dispose of STC.No.175 of 2018

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the case is pending for more than 4 years and the respondent police had not taken any action to complete the trial or produce the witnesses. Till date none of the witnesses were produced before the Court below.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that there are 8 witnesses in S.T.C.No.175 of 2018, which was taken cognizance for the offences under Sections 447, 294(b), 323 and 506(ii) IPC in Crime No.159 of 2015 on the file of the respondent police. It is also seen that the Trial Court has originally taken cognizance of the matter in the year 2015. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Bhavani, to complete the trial in S.T.C.No.175 of 2018, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
