This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to file charge sheet in Crime No. 209 of 2016. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent.
3.On the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the respondent Police have registered a case in Crime No.209 of 2016 on 28.05.2016 under Sections 147, 294(b) and 323 IPC. While so, the de facto complainant has filed the present petition with the above prayer.
4.Taking into consideration the nature of the allegations in the FIR, this Court directs the respondent Police to complete the investigation in Crime No.209 of 2016, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and either file a charge sheet or a closure report as the case may be under due intimation to the de facto complainant, provided there is no any legal impediment.
