Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, pleased to issue a Writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction in the nature of writ, direct the respondents 1 and 2 to provide Police protection to survey the petitioner's land situated in S.No.146 / 2B to the extent of 40 Cents at Tharamangalam, Omalur Taluk based on the report dated 18.12.2021 on the file of the 2nd respondent.

O R D E R

The Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to provide Police protection to survey the petitioner's land situated in S.No.146/2B to the extent of 40 Cents at Tharamangalam, Omalur Taluk based on the report dated 18.12.2021 on the file of the 2nd respondent. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the petitioner has already sent a representation to the second respondent. On 18.12.2021, the second respondent has also given a reply to the petitioner stating if he fixes the date and appears along with the Village Administrative Officer and the Surveyor, appropriate protection will be given to the petitioner.

3. Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents and perused the entire materials available on record.

4. As per letter dated 18.12.2021, the second respondent has already stated that if the petitioner approaches along with the jurisdictional Village Administrative Officer and Surveyor, due protection will be given to him.
