ORDER

This contempt petition has been filed alleging nonpayment of the interest part. The learned standing counsel for the respondents, referring to the counter affidavit showing the calculation memo, stated that the entire interest has been paid to the petitioner.

2. A perusal of the calculation memo filed in the counter affidavit shows that the interest on gratuity @ 6% per annum from 1.12.2015 to 31.5.2017 for 548 days in a sum of Rs.54,527/- was already paid and again the interest on commutation from the date of retirement of the petitoner viz., from 31.10.2015 to 4.12.2017 for 704 days in a sum of Rs.29,922/- was paid on 27.6.2018 and that the interest on leave liability @ 6% per annum from 1.12.2015 to 30.6.2017 for 578 days in a sum of Rs.9,904/- was also paid on 18.9.2018. Therefore, this Court is not inclined to proceed further in the matter. Accordingly, the contempt petition stands closed.
