PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Habeas Corpus, calling for the records relating to the detention order in 20/BCDFGISSSV/2025 dated 13.01.2025 passed by the 2nd respondent under the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982 and quash the same and direct the respondents to produce the detenu Sampath, aged 33 years, S/o.Sankar, who is presently confined in the Central Prison, Puzhal, Chennai before this court and set her at liberty. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner, as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, by producing a copy of the Government Order in G.O.Rt.No.875, Home, Prohibition and Excise (X) Department, dated 21.02.2025, submitted that the detention order has already been revoked.

2. Recording the said submission, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands dismissed as infructuous.
