This Criminal Original Petition has been filed challenging the order dated 26.08.2023 passed by the learned Judicial Magistrate No.5, Salem in unnumbered Crl.M.P.S.R.No.1084 of 2023 in S.T.C.No.5767 of 2021, thereby rejecting the application to drop the proceedings on the ground of jurisdiction.

When this Court about to dismiss the petition, the learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the present petition. He has also made an endorsement in the Court bundle to that effect.

In view of the above submissions and endorsement, the Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed as withdrawn. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
