O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to deal with the petitioner's application dated 06.01.2025 and subsequent representation dated 29.01.2025 seeking for survey of the subject property and for demarcation of boundaries.

2. Heard Mr.V.Sakkarapani, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.S.Jayachandran, learned Government Advocate appearing for respondents.

3. The petitioner is claiming right and title over the subject property through a registered sale deed dated 22.04.2021. That apart, the patta also stands in the name of the petitioner in Patta No.3784. The petitioner wanted a survey to be conducted and accordingly, he submitted an application. Since the same was not acted upon, the petitioner submitted a representation and this also did not evoke any response. It is under these circumstances, the present writ petition has been filed.

4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the respondents to act upon the application submitted by the petitioner on 06.01.2025 and conduct the survey in the subject property and demarcate the boundaries strictly in line with the title document and patta already issued in favour of the petitioner. This process shall be completed within a period of four

(4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If there is any other rival claim, the survey shall be conducted in their presence. This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs. 20.02.2025 Index : Yes/No Speaking Order / Non Speaking Order gm 3/5
