Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 survey the land situated in Old.S.No.62/4A and New No.257/2, Karupur Village, Omalur Taluk, Salem District based on the petition dated 12.01.2021. ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed by the petitioner seeking a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to survey the land comprised in Old.S.No.62/4A and New No.257/2, situated at Karupur Village, Omalur Taluk, Salem District based on the petitioner's application dated 12.01.2021.

2.Mrs.R.Janaki, learned Additional Government Pleadear entered appearance for the respondents and submitted that an enquiry is scheduled to take place on 21.05.2021 at 11.00 a.m at the office of the Tahsildar, first respondent herein.

3.The said statement of the learned Additional Government Pleader is recorded.

4.In view of the above, no further direction is required to be given except that the first respondent is directed to issue notice to all the parties who are likely to be affected by his decision, provide them a fair and effective hearing and to dispose of the the petitioner's application dated 12.01.2021 through a speaking order within a period of eight (8) weeks after the conclusion of the General Elections to the Legislative Assembly - 2021.
