ORDER

The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a Writ of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider and pass orders on the representation dated 20.01.2017 so far it relates to survey in the lands and for fixing the missing boundary stones as per patta No.939 in respect of land comprised under Survey Nos. 119-3A, 119-3B, 120-3A, 122-1A1, 2-1A1, 2-2B2, 25-2B1B, 3-3A3A and 4/2B2B of Poonchery Village, Thirukkalundram Taluk, Kanchipuram District.

2. Mr.C.Chinnavyran, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that survey stones fixed in the above mentioned lands were missing and therefore, the petitioner https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

gave a representation to the third respondent to survey the lands and for fixing the survey stones as per patta No.939 in respect of the said lands. Further, the learned counsel submitted that though the representation was given as early as on 20.01.2017, the third respondent has not surveyed the land so far.

Mr.A.N.Thambidurai, learned Special Government Pleader taking notice for the respondents, submitted that the third respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's representation and pass orders in accordance with law.

Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side and also taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the writ petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 20.01.2017 relating to survey of the lands and for fixing the survey stones in respect of the petitioner lands mentioned above, in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With this observations, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
