This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to call for the records relating to proceedings in C.C.No.27 of 2019 on the file of the Court of Judicial Magistrate, Thiruthani, Thiruvallur District and quash the same.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that earlier, based on the complaint by one of the legal https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

heirs, the 2nd respondent has stopped paying the compensation. However, on the same set of allegations, a criminal complaint has been given and the petitioner has not received the compensation so far. When such being so, there is no reason for the 2nd respondent to proceed against the petitioner.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the 1st respondent would submit that the petitioner had impersonated as co-owner of the property and had attempted to knock out the compensation in favour of him. It is a clear case of impersonation and forgery, which has to be gone into by trial.

4. Heard the learned counsel and perused the materials available on record.

5. Recording the same, the criminal original petition stands dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
