The Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure, to transfer the investigation in Crime No.766 of 2021 pending on the file of Inspector of Police, V4-Rajamangalam Police Station, Chennai to some other investigation agency or to his higher officials not below the rank of Deputy Commissioner of police.

O R D E R

The Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to transfer the investigation in Crime No.766 of 2021 pending on the file of Inspector of Police, V4-Rajamangalam Police Station, Chennai to some other investigation agency or to his higher officials not below the rank of Deputy Commissioner of police.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned senior counsel appearing for the Petitioner would submit that though the Petition has been filed seeking transfer of investigation in

Crime No.766 of 2021 pending on the file of Inspector of Police, V4-Rajamangalam Police Station, Chennai to some other investigation agency, it would be sufficient if the investigation monitored by the first respondent.

3. At this juncture, learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that it is a case in counter. On the basis of the complaint given by one Monikka Sree, a case in Crime No.9 of 2021 has been registered by All Women Police Station, Villivakkam and he would submit that despite summons served on both the parties, they have not appeared before the respondent for investigation. He would submit that both the cases may be direction to be investigated by All Women Police Station, Villivakkam.

4. In view of the above said circumstances, the case in Crime No.766 of 2021 pending investigation on the file of V-4 Rajamangalam Police Station is transferred to the file of All Women Police Station, Villivakkam Police Station to be investigated along with Crime No.9 of 2021. The investigation in both cases shall be completed and final report shall be filed within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and the same shall be monitored by the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Villivakkam.

5. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
