ORDER

The petitioner has filed this petition seeking mandamus directing the 1st respondent herein to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 25/04/2025 for allotment of tenement in the Pattinapakkam Scheme. 2.

The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner belongs to a fisherman community and has no house in her name. Therefore, she applied for a tenement under Pattinapakkam Scheme in the second respondent Board. Since she was not given any allotment, she made a representation dated 31.01.2024 before the second respondent which was pending for consideration. Thereafter, the petitioner had also made a representation dated 25.04.2025 before the first respondent who is the nodal authority for allotment in the Pattinapakkam scheme. Since there was no action taken till date, the petitioner is before this Court. 3.

Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the records. 4.

Considering the relief now sought for by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 31.01.2024, on merits and in accordance with law and to pass appropriate orders, within a
