When the matter was taken up for hearing on 19.07.2024, the learned counsel for the appellant would state that he had given change of Vakalat and hence, the Registry was directed to print the name of the appellant in cause list and post the matter on 08.08.2024(today). Accordingly, the matter is listed today by printing the name of the appellant in the cause list.

2. Today, when the matter is called, there is no representation for the appellant either in person or through counsel. Therefore, this Court has no other option except to dismiss the appeal for non-prosecution. Accordingly, the Civil Miscellaneous Appeal is dismissed for nonprosecution. No costs.
