O R D E R

The prayer sought for herein is for a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to issue Patta to the petitioner insofar as related to T.S.No.67, Block No.21, Ward No.6, Door No.81/3, Sittharauthapalayam Village, Dharapuram Taluk, Tiruppur District.

2. The petitioner in order to get assignment of land or issuance of 1/4

free patta in respect of the dwelling house at T.S.No.67, Block No.21, Ward No.6, Door No.81/3, Sittharauthapalayam Village, Dharapuram Taluk, Tiruppur District, had given representation to the District Collector who having considered the same forwarded it to the 2nd respondent Tahsildar by his communication dated 27.07.2021 to take necessary action and to report back to the 1st respondent, despite that the 2nd respondent so far has not taken any action, therefore the petitioner is before this Court.

Heard Mrs.N.Senthil Selvi, learned Government Advocate for the respondents who would submit that, pursuant to the forwarding letter given by the District Collector, the 2nd respondent Tahsildar would consider the said application submitted by the petitioner and on merits and in accordance with law it would be considered and decided within a time frame that may be stipulated by this Court.

4. Considering the said submissions made by the learned Government Advocate for the respondents, this Court is inclined to dispose of this writ petition with the following orders: There shall be a direction to the 2nd respondent 2/4

Tahsildar to act upon on the directive issued by the District Collector by his communication dated 27.07.2021 on the plea of the petitioner dated 12.07.2021 and do the needful in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
