O R D E R

The civil revision petition is filed for a direction to the learned Principal District Court, Chengalpattu to treat I.A.No.2 of 2023 in GWOP No.139 of 2023 as urgent and dispose of the IA within a time-frame.

2. The petitioner is the mother and the respondent is the father. The petitioner mother has filed GWOP No.139 of 2023 on the file of the Principal District Court, Chengalpattu seeking custody of the minor child P.Johanna Samuela. In the said petition, the respondent father has filed IA No.2 of 2023 on the file of the Principal District Court, Chengalpattu seeking temporary custody of his child P.Johanna Samuela. The application was filed in the year 2023 and the same is still pending. In such circumstances, the petitioner has filed this present civil revision petition for a direction to the Trial Judge to dispose of the case within a time frame.

3. Further, pursuant to the direction of this Court, the Registry, on verification through e-filing, has reported that the total pendency of the Principal District Court, Chengalpattu, is1270 cases.

4. Considering the total pendency of the cases and also taking note of the fact that the above application was filed in the year 2023, the Principal District Court, Chengalpattu is directed to dispose of IA No.2 of 2023

within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
