C.M.P.No.4120 of 2022 in C.M.A.SR.No.17471 of 2022 P.T.ASHA, J., This petition is filed to condone the delay of 1378 days in filing above Civil Miscellaneous Appeal against the order in M.C.O.P.No.592 of 2015 dated 07.02.2018 on the file of the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, III Additional District Judge, Salem.

2. Mr.M.J.Vijayaraghavan, learned counsel takes notice on the 2nd respondent.

3. Though sufficient reasons have been given, the learned counsel for the 2nd respondent would submit that the claimant should not be granted interest for the said period.

4. Considering the above facts, this petition is allowed and the delay is condoned on condition that the claimants will not be entitled interest for the said delay period.
