ORDER

The prayer sought for herein is for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 22.12.2022 to measure her property and issue separate patta in favour of the petitioner within stipulated period.

The petitioner, in order to get patta for the land at Sub Division No.459/3 at K.V.Kuppam in Vellore District, has given an online application on 31.10.2022, thereafter on 22.12.2022 to the second respondent / Tahsildar. Therefore, in order to consider the same, the petitioner seeks a writ of mandamus, as filed in the present writ petition.

3. Heard Mr.M.Sathish Kumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Ms.Akila Rajendran, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

4. Ms.Akila Rajendran, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that, the said application submitted by the petitioner would be considered and orders would be passed thereon, on merits, by the second respondent within a time frame that may be stipulated by this Court.

5. Considering the said submissions made by the learned Government Advocate, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to consider the said application of the petitioner dated 22.12.2022 and pass orders thereon, on merits 2/4

and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With these directions, the writ petition is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.
