O R D E R

The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue writ of Mandamus calling for the entire records of the respondent in his proceedings N.Ka.No.05/17 dated 16.04.2017 and quash the same and consequently direct the respondent to grant permission to conduct village folk dance and other cultural programs on 28.04.2017 at Mariamman temple at Palapalayam, L.M.Palapalayam & post, Erode District.

2. Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned Government Advocate.

3. It is the case of the petitioner that inspite of the representation being given to the respondent on 16.04.2017 for conducting cultural programme, the respondent has not passed orders till today.

4. A Division Bench of this Court in W.P.(MD).No.3773 of 2017 by order dated 03.03.2017 in similar circumstances directed the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation and dispose of the same.

5. Following the order passed by the Division Bench, this Court directs the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 16.04.2017 and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, on or before 27.04.2017.

6. With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
