O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus forbearing the 1st and 3rd Respondents from detaining the petitioner under preventive detention in particular "Black Marketing Act.

2. This Court had an occasion to deal with a similar issue in D.Aswin Rao .Vs. 1.The State rep.by its Additional Chief Secretary and 2 others in W.P.No.1664 of 2021 by order dated https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

04.02.2021. This Court, after considering the entire case law had declared the law on the issue.

3. In the present case, the only apprehension of the petitioner is based on the newspaper report to the effect that the respondents are taking steps to detain the petitioner under the preventive Detention under Tamil Nadu Act No.14 of 1982.

4. In the considered view of this Court, the newspaper report can never fond the basis of entertaining the writ petition and forbearing the respondents. The present case does not fall within the parameters that were laid down in the above judgment. It is also brought to the notice of this Court that the petitioner has been granted bail in two cases and he has been released on 26.02.2021.

In view of the same, this Court does not find any merit in this writ petition and accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed. No costs.
