: Mr.R.Radha Pandian COMMON ORDER Crl.O.P.No.3373 of 2020 has been filed to direct the learned Fast Track Court No.III, Metropolitan Magistrate Court, Saidapet, Chennai to dispose C.C.No.713 of 2016 at early.

2. Crl.O.P.No.3390 of 2020 has been filed to direct the learned Fast Track Court No.III, Metropolitan Magistrate Court, Saidapet, Chennai to dispose C.C.No.714 of 2016 at early.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner herein has filed a private complaint under Section 138 of Negotiable Instruments Act, against the respondent herein and based on the same, the aforesaid cases were taken on file. He further submitted that eventhough, the petitioner herein has filed a proof affidavit as PW1 on 14.02.2019, the respondent/accused did not come forward to cross https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

examine the petitioner. After adjourning the case for several hearings, finally the learned Metropolitan Magistrate has closed the evidence of the complainant and posted "for DWs" and at this stage, the respondent/accused has filed a petition to recall PW1 for cross examination and the same was allowed on 14.02.2020. Now, the case is posted to 18.02.2020 for cross examination of PW1. He further submitted that since the aforesaid cases are pending for the past 4 years, he requests to direct the trial Court to dispose of the aforesaid cases at the earliest.

4. Considering the aforesaid facts, the trial Court is directed to dispose of C.C.Nos.713 and 714 of 2016 within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of the order.

5. With the above direction, these Criminal Original Petitions are disposed of.
