Respondents Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to execute and register a sale deed in favour of the legal heir of the deceased Alaguvel for Plot No.188 situates at Makkaram Garden, Kolathur Village, Perumbur, Purasaivakkam Taluk, Chennai - 600 099, based on the representations dated 04.04.2022 and 18.01.2025 within the time frame that may be fixed by this Court. 1/4

O R D E R

Considering the nature of relief that is sought for, the first respondent substituted as follows: -

1. The Managing Director, Tamil Nadu Urban Habitat Development Board, No.5, Kamarajar Salai, Chennai - 600 005.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that, the property in question was allotted by the Board and all dues are paid. Therefore, when the petitioners' father Alaguvel has died, the Board has to execute the sale deed.

3. When the matter came up for admission, Mr. S. Karthikeyan, the learned counsel takes notice on behalf of respondents 1 and 2 and would submit that the said Alaguvel had passed away leaving behind three legal heirs. The representation is made only by two legal heirs. However, they will take up the representation for consideration, issue notice to the petitioners as well as the third legal heir and conduct an enquiry and pass appropriate orders in accordance with 2/4

law.

4. In view thereof, the same is recorded and such an exercise shall be completed within a period of eight weeks from the date of website uploaded copy of the order without waiting for the certified copy of the order.

5. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
