O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 24.01.2024 and grant permission to continue the quarry operation from the leasehold land bearing S.F.No.1 (Part-1) (Bit-7) admeasuring 1.29.0 Hectares in Kondamanaickenpatti Village, Namakkal Taluk and District, for the non operative period of one year after the expiry of lease.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner made representation dated 24.01.2024 to the respondents seeking permission to continue the quarry operation from the leasehold land bearing S.F.No.1 (Part-1) (Bit-7) admeasuring 1.29.0 Hectares in Kondamanaickenpatti Village, Namakkal Taluk and District, for the non operative period of one year after the expiry of lease, however, there is no response. Hence, this Court may issue direction to the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation and to pass appropriate orders, within a reasonable time frame.

3.Considering the limited relief sought for in this writ petition, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 24.01.2024, on merits and in accordance with law and to pass appropriate orders, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
