O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to act upon the representation made by the petitioner on 18.11.2024 wherein the petitioner is seeking for adding her name as joint patta holder along with her siblings.

2. Heard Mr.G.Mohammed Aseef, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.P.Sathish, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for respondents 1 to 3.

3. The case of the petitioner is that she is the absolute owner of the subject property by virtue of a registered settlement deed dated 05.03.1990 registered as document No.239 of 1990. The grievance of the petitioner is that the patta in Patta Nos.1596 and 1110 was issued in the 2/4

name of her sibilings without adding the name of the petitioner. Therefore, the petitioner made a representation in this regard to add her name as a joint patta holder along with her siblings. Since the same was not considered, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court.

4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the third respondent to deal with the representation made by the petitioner on 18.11.2024 on its own merits and in accordance with law after affording opportunity to the two siblings whose names are already found in the patta and pass final orders within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
