The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of Writ of Certiorari to call for the records relating to the impugned order dated 17.04.2017 passed by the 5th respondent and quash the same in so far as the posting of the 4th respondent is concerned.

2. Heard Mr.J.Lakshmi Narayanan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner; Mr.Venkatasamy Babu, learned Senior Panel Counsel for Government of India appearing for the respondents.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner placing a copy of the order dated 02.06.2017 in No.J.II.345/2017.LWP.II, fairly submitted that this writ petition has become infructuous, in view of the cancellation of the transfer order/impugned order dated 17.04.2017 passed by the 5th respondent in T.IX-3/2017-Pers DA.I.

4. In view of the above, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
