This petition has been filed to set aside the order dated 25.04.2016 passed by the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Chengalpattu in C.C.No.41 of 2010.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners; learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent and perused the materials placed on record.

3. On 10.06.2016, this Court had passed a detailed order, directing the petitioner to deposit a sum of Rs.5,000/- within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order before the trial Court and thereafter, the trial Court was directed to issue summons to Mr.P.K.Guha, former Director Central Drugs Lab from Kolkatta. Today, the matter is posted "for reporting compliance". When the matter is taken up for hearing, Mr.K.Nanda, Drug Inspector, Kancheepuram I Range is present.

4. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions, submitted that since the petitioners/accused did not comply with the order dated 10.06.2016 by depositing Rs.5,000/-, the trial Court had closed the petition.
