Prayer: This Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Criminal Procedure Code to direct the second respondent to file the final report in Crime No.1103 of 2008 (on the file of the T1-Ambattur Police Station) within the prescribed time given by this Court. ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to direct the second respondent to file the final report in Crime No.1103 of 2008 (on the file of the T1-Ambattur Police Station) within the prescribed time given by this Court.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondents. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that though the second respondent has registered a case in the above said crime number and altered the first information report on 12.12.2008, no final report is filed till date.
4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that the second respondent police may be permitted to file a final report within a period of one month.
5. In view of the above, the second respondent is directed to file either a final report or a closure report, as the case may be, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order under due intimation to the defacto complainant.
6. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
