ORDER

When the matter was taken up for hearing, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that though the petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the 2nd respondent to consider the promotion of the petitioner notionally as Chief Civil Surgeon with effect from 1.7.2010 and to fix the petitioner's pay for the Post of Chief Civil Surgeon to derive the attended benefits from 1.7.2010, by an order dated 28.09.2016 in Ref.No.1912/E1/2015-14 of the Joint Director of Health Service, Tirunelveli at Tenkasi, the prayer sought for by the petitioner has been granted with effect from 1.7.2010 after completion of currency of two punishments imposed on her and all her pensionary benefits were also refixed in accordance with the refixation of pay.

2. Recording the said submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, nothing further survives for adjudication in the present petition. Accordingly, this writ petition is closed. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
