Seeking a direction to the 2nd respondent police to register the complaint dated 26/07/13 given by the petitioner, he has come up with this petition.

2. Heard the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police. There is no representation for the petitioner.

3. On perusal of the materials available on record, it is seen that the complaint has been given by the petitioner to the first respondent by post.

4. Under such circumstances, the petitioner is directed to give a fresh complaint in person to the 2nd respondent police and on such complaint being given, the 2nd respondent police is directed to conduct enquiry and take action in accordance with the law laid down by the Honourable Apex Court in Lalita Kumari vs. Govt. of U.P. & others [2013 (4) Crimes 243 (SC)]..
