This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the second respondent to implement the proceedings dated 01.12.2023 and issue patta in the name of the petitioner after sub-division of the property by considering the representation made by the petitioner dated 05.09.2024.

2. Heard Mr.M.Dinesh, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.M.R.Gokulkrishnan, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for respondents.

3. It is seen from records that the application submitted by the petitioner seeking for sub-division and issuance of separate patta was already considered by the second respondent, which is apparent from the notification dated 01.12.2023. The second respondent has informed that after conducting survey, separate patta will be issued in favour of the petitioner. Since there was no progress thereafter, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court seeking for appropriate direction.

4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the earlier notification of the second respondent dated 01.12.2023, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to pass appropriate orders within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
