The petitioner made, by way of a complaint, a representation to respondent No.2, alleging that the mandatory registration of Motor Transport Workers Act, 1961, required under Rule 5 of the Tamil Nadu Motor Transport Workers Rule, 1965 is not being https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

followed by various undertakings / corporations. Seeking disposal of the said representation, dated 30.01.2017, the present writ petition has been filed.

2.Taking into consideration of the pendency of the representation with respondent No.2, a direction is issued to the said authority to dispose it of, within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of order.

3.The petitioner is also directed to sent another copy of the aforesaid representation dated 30.01.2017 to respondent No.2, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
