ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed praying to quash the

proceedings in CC.No.5 of 2024 pending on the file of the learned XXIV Additional City Civil & Sessions Judge, CBI Cases relating to Banks and Financial Institution Scams, Allikulam, Chennai insofar as the petitioner(A4) is concerned.

On instruction the learned Special Public Prosecutor for CBI Cases appearing for the respondent submitted that the petitioner is arrayed as A4, who filed petition to discharge and the same was dismissed. Thereafter, the trial court framed charges and the prosecution has so far examined PW1 to PW4.

Therefore, after commencement of trial, the quash petition cannot be entertained by this Court. As such, this criminal original petition is liable to be dismissed. Accordingly, this criminal original petition is dismissed. The trial court is directed to complete the trial within a period of six months from the date of receipt of this order.
