ORDER

The petitioner had filed the present writ petition in the nature of mandamus, seeking a direction to take action on the complaint given by the petitioner on 04.12.2018.

2. In the affidavit filed in support of the writ petition, it had been stated that the petitioner worked under the Managing Director/District Revenue Officer of Chengalvarayan Co-operative Sugar Mills, Periya Sevalai, Villupuram for 37 years. He belongs to Scheduled Caste Community. He stated that on 20.12.2017, the then Superintendent in the office of the Chengalvarayan Co-operative Sugar Mills Thiru.D.Jayachandhran and the Office Manager (General) in the said Sugar Mill Thiru.Cholai Dhandapani had abused the petitioner by mentioning his caste and thereby caused depression to the petitioner.

3. Therefore, the petitioner had given a complaint to the Managing Director / District Revenue Officer of the Sugar Mill on 20.12.2017. He then applied for three days leave from 08.01.2018 to 10.01.2018 to perform a cataract surgery on his 1/2 https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

eye. However, only one day leave was sanctioned. Since there no sufficient leave was granted, he did not perform the Eye operation. Thereafter, he has stated that he had applied for resignation on 26.02.2018. It has been stated that he was relieved from service on 21.04.2018. In view of these harassments, he had forwarded a complaint to the respondent on 04.12.2018. The grievance of the petitioner is that no orders have been passed by the respondent.

4. In view of the above, a mandamus is therefore issued to the respondent to examine the complaint given by the petitioner, and if necessary, issue notice to the petitioner and any other persons concerned and thereafter, pass orders with reasons, at any rate on or before 31.05.2020.

5. With the above observation, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
