ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent police "Not to harass" the petitioner.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. On a complaint given by one Muthaiyan, petition enquiry is pending. Under such circumstances, blanket order of 'not to harass' cannot be passed. The petitioner shall cooperate for the enquiry and during the course of enquiry, he shall not be harassed. However, if any cognizable offence is made out, this order would not be a shield against the arrest of the accused.

With the above observation, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
