ORDER

The petitioner/wife seeks transfer of HMOP No.122 of 2025 from the file of Additional Sub Court, Tindivanam, Villupuram District and transfer the same to Family Court, Chennai.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is the resident of Chennai and she finds it difficult to travel from Chennai to Tindivanam to attend the court proceedings and therefore she has filed the present petition seeking for transfer.

3. There is no representation for the respondent.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to transfer HMOP No.122 of 2025 from the file of Additional Sub Court, Tindivanam, Villupuram District to Family Court, Chennai.

5. Accordingly, Tr.C.M.P.No.160 of 2026 is allowed and the proceedings in HMOP No.122 of 2025 is withdrawn from the file of Additional Sub Court, Tindivanam, Villupuram District to Family Court, Chennai.

6. The Additional Sub Court, Tindivanam, Villupuram District is directed to send the entire records relating to HMOP No.122 of 2025 to Family Court, Chennai, forthwith.

7. On receipt of the records, the Family Court, Chennai is directed to issue notice to both the parties.
