Criminal Original Petitions filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, to call for the records pertaining to the criminal complaint pending before Inspector of Police, W-8 All Women Police Station, Thirumangalam in Crime No.9 of 2018 and quash the same.

ORDER
This petition is filed to call for the records in Crime No.9 of 2018 pending before the respondent Police and to quash the same. This case was registered for the offences under Section 498(A), 406, 506(1) of IPC in connection with matrimonial dispute between the parties.
2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner and the petitioner are present. The https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
second respondent/de-facto complainant is also present and is represented by Mr.M.Arul, learned counsel.
3. Both the counsel submitted that the dispute between the parties had been amicably resolved and a joint memo of compromise is also filed. It is seen from the joint memo of compromise that the parties have entered into a settlement.
4. The respondents have no objection to quash the criminal proceedings in Crime No.9 of 2018 pending before the Inspector of Police, W-8, All Women Police Station.
5. Recording the compromise entered into between the parties and that the second respondent has no objection to quash the criminal proceeding in the aforesaid crime number, this Court quashes the proceedings in Crime No.9 of 2018 pending before the Inspector of Police, W-8, All Women Police Station. The Joint Memo of compromise shall form part and parcel of the order.
