The petitioner has approached this Court for a direction to the second respondent police to register an FIR on his complaint dated 20.05.2015.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor [Puducherry] appearing for the respondents.

3. The petitioner is a Police Constable and was working in Katterikuppam Police Station. It is alleged by the petitioner that, one Nisha came to the Police Station on 20.05.2015 while he was on duty and picked up quarrel with him and even attacked him with a knife and caused injuries to him. Therefore, he got himself admitted to the hospital and later lodged a complaint dated 20.05.2015 with https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the Sub Inspector of Police, Katterikuppam Police Station for enquiry.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor [Puducherry] produced the case records and on a perusal of the case records it appears from paper reports that, this petitioner was having an affair with Nisha, who was already married and is a mother of two children. It is alleged by Nisha that, this petitioner was demanding money from her after having exploited her and she also lodged a complaint against the petitioner for assault.

4. The Senior Superintendent of Police [Puducherry] has placed the petitioner under suspension pending enquiry, by order dated 27.05.2015. The petitioner has not been reporting to the Police Station for quite some time. Enquiry conducted by the police reveals that, the complaint lodged by the petitioner against Nisha and vice versa are both false and that, both of them have got themselves admitted into hospital for the purpose of creating records. Therefore, this is not a fit case to issue any direction as prayed for by the petitioner and in the result, this petition stands dismissed.
