This petition has been filed to direct the Judicial Magistrate, Alandur to dispose of the petitions pending before him in C.M.P.No.5743/2013 and 5742/2013 respectively.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State.

3. This Court called for a Report from the Judicial Magistrate, Alandur, Kancheepuram District and the Report dated 22.06.2016 has been received, which states as follows: "I humbly submit that CMP No.5742/2013 and 5743/2013 were filed by one Mr.R.Raghunath under Section 13(2) of Registration of Birth and Death Act, 1969. Further I respectfully submit that both the petitions were dismissed by this Court for default on 30.05.2014 and 23.05.2014 respectively. The copy of the Diary Extract is herewith submitted for your honours kind perusal and consideration."

From the above Report it is seen that the petition CMP No.5742/2013 has been dismissed on 30.05.2014 and the petition in CMP No.5743/2013 has been dismissed on 23.05.2014. Recording the same, these petitions are closed.
