2. Captioned application is one seeking 'Condonation of Delay' ('COD' for the sake of convenience). COD prayer is qua 57 days delay in representation. The reason for delay has been articulated in Paragraph 2 of the supporting affidavit and a perusal of the same reveals that difficulty in retrieving the case bundles which were misplaced in the office of the applicant/petitioner owing to Coronavirus pandemic and consequent lock down, which is referred to as 'Covid -19' situation has been given as the reason. Learned counsel for applicant/petitioner reiterates this reason.

This Court having perused the affidavit filed in support of captioned application, having heard learned counsel representing the counsel on record for applicant, having noticed that the delay sought to be condoned is under 3 months and 30 days, which is the prescribed period and cap respectively albeit https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis/ 1/2
